Application for many degree programs still into the fall

For the coming winter semester, the University of Kassel is planning an extensive return to campus after three digital semesters. The university is talking about an attendance semester with some restrictions. Especially for those who start their studies this year, the university management wants to use opening leeway. "It should be worthwhile to start studying with us, and we want to offer many young people this opportunity," says Vice President Prof. Dr. René Matzdorf. 

The university has therefore now set application periods that extend into the fall for many degree programs. This applies, for example, to engineering, but also to social sciences and humanities, ecological agricultural sciences, landscape planning, economics, mathematics and natural sciences. In general, applications for all open-admission bachelor's and teaching degree programs are possible until October 11, and for open-admission master's degree programs until September 30.

However, these dates refer to applicants with a German university entrance qualification. The procedure for foreign applicants has already been completed.
