Science Park is event partner at the Start-Up Week Germany 2022

Startup Week Germany is a nationwide campaign to strengthen entrepreneurship and provide new impetus for a diverse startup culture. It is part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which will take place simultaneously in over 200 countries from November 14 to 20, 2022. Just as diverse and innovative as the landscape of startups is this year's Startup Week offerings. Whether in person on site or virtually, the diverse events, most of which are free of charge, are aimed first and foremost at anyone interested in founding a business: from schoolchildren to students, young adults to founders. It doesn't matter if they are still at the very beginning, about to start their business or want to grow with their young company.

UNIKAT Crowdfunding offers project starters from the Kassel region the opportunity to present their ideas and to finance them with the help of numerous supporters. In our consultation hour you can learn everything about crowdfunding and together we will find out if crowdfunding is suitable for your project.

How does startup work? The startup Triebwerk shares its experiences
Monday, November 14, 2022 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm

Triebwerk's mission is to create diverse agroforestry systems to address climate change, increase biodiversity, and create yield security for agriculture. How did this mission become a business model, what were the hurdles and what helped? Triebwerk will report on this in this event, where there will be plenty of room for questions.

Startup taster course for students and people interested in founding a company
Thursday, November 17, 3-5 p.m., CoCreationLab at the Science Park

Science Park's CoCreation Idea Workshop is a startup taster course for developing your own business idea. The workshop is aimed primarily at students, but also at anyone interested in the topics of innovation, startups and founding. Participants can expect interactive and creative methods for brainstorming, professional feedback and new people with a similar mindset. Registration through the Science Park website is required.
"The workshop made me question my idea. It's great that the other participants also gave super impulses to my idea. I would absolutely recommend the workshop to others. With the help of the coaches, I was able to work out well which things work particularly well," said a participant of the workshop in October.
There is a certificate of participation. Afterwards, all participants are cordially invited to the CoCreation start-up roundtable.

Insights into the start-up and innovation center Science Park Kassel
Thursday, November 17, 4:30-5 p.m., Meeting point: Foyer

Kassel and the North Hesse region have long had a large, active start-up scene. The innovative potential is bundled in the Science Park Kassel, among other places. A central meeting place for Kassel's startup scene has been established here since 2015. Based on the university campus, the center's central task is the transfer of knowledge between the university and business. Thus, it supports founders from the university from the idea to the establishment on the market. Currently, there are about 40 startups on site. Interested parties are cordially invited to visit the office and workshop areas located on more than 6000m², to gain exciting insights into the space and support offered and to network on site.

Free registration via the Science Park website is required, and it is also requested that you arrive in the foyer a few minutes before the tour begins. The number of participants is limited. Afterwards, all participants are cordially invited to the CoCreation Founders' Table in the Dépa Research Canteen.

CoCreation Founders' Roundtable
Thursday, November 17, 5-7 p.m., Dépa Research Canteen at the Science Park Kassel

On every third Thursday of the month, Science Park invites you to the CoCreation Founders' Roundtable for casual networking in the relaxed atmosphere of the Dépa Forschungskantine. Among the participants of the last months there have already been many exciting people: from pupils and students interested in founding a company to startups or already established companies to marketing and finance experts as well as a memory artist with several world records. Registration for the Stammtisch is not necessary.
