In the age of digitalization, design methods, planning strategies and construction technologies are being fundamentally questioned. Without the use of digital technology, many of our projects would not be feasible. The design and construction possibilities and challenges are being rethought and developed by a young as well as older generation
of artists, architects and planners. This series of lectures is therefore not only about the application of new techniques, but about
sustainable concepts for innovative planning and architectural solutions - intelligent, SMART. What is a substantive approach that can implement the possibilities
of digitalization in architecture and planning now and in the future? FUSION, the lecture series at the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape Planning at the University of Kassel, is exploring these and other questions this semester - as always on Wednesdays at 7:00pm in the ASL-Neubau (Universitätsplatz 9).
