Can I apply with a science or engineering degree?

Please note that admission requires advanced knowledge in two natural sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and at least fundamental knowledge in the third one on tertiary education level. If you studied the single subjects Physics, Chemistry, or Biology, you will need evidence for additional courses taken in the respective other subjects. If you hold a Bachelor degree in Nanoscience, General Science, or other interdisciplinary subjects related to Physics, Chemistry, or Biology, you may meet the admission requirements more easily.

If you hold an engineering degree, it will be more difficult to fulfill the requirements. For example, if you have a degree in Electrical Engineering without two natural sciences, you will be not eligible for the programme. In this case, we refer to other study programmes offered at the University of Kassel.
