Important information on the procedure for research applications in underwriting circulation

Please allow three weeks for processing applications submitted via the Research Support office for signature by the university leadership. In justified exceptional cases, processing in two weeks is possible in an urgent procedure.

The submission version of the application is required by this internal deadline, i.e. all legally relevant documents, the financial plan, the work plan and the main parts of the project description must be finalized. However, minor revisions to the application text may also be possible during this submission period. In this case, please contact the Research Funding Office in advance to clarify the need for changes or additions before submitting the application.

Good to know: DFG

Submitting a grant proposal to the DFG requires you, as per DFG rules, to notify the local DFG liaison person of your submission. For doing that at U Kassel, please send the PDF of your Elan receipt to dfg-meldung[at]uni-kassel[dot]de.

As part of our advising services and in accordance with HDSIG section 3, we keep a record of our consultations in an internal database and document the application-relevant information you provide and its processing (e.g. feedback on application components) on our restricted-access group drive. Your data will be deleted after 10 years at the latest.
