The bicycle repair station at the HoPla is located directly in front of the entrance to the Moritz, in Witzenhausen it is located in the entrance to the Nordbahnhofstraße location. It contains a set of tools, which are suitable for most repairs and troubleshooting, as well as a hand pump with an adapter for all valve types. In addition, the bike can be conveniently hung on an attachment. The door of the repair locker can be opened like a shopping cart with a coin as a deposit - so don't forget change! 

The idea for bicycle repair stations came about as part of the project "Sustainable Transportation at the University of Kassel - Concept and Measures for Sustainable Mobility and Logistics." The project is being worked on by the Green Office in cooperation with the Department of Transportation Planning and Systems headed by Prof. Dr. Sommer.

In order to meet the requirements and wishes of students and employees for sustainable mobility on the campuses, additional repair stations and secure and covered bicycle parking facilities are to be built soon.
