How can sustainability stakeholders, initiatives and activities relating to sustainability become more visible in the city? The Sustainability Community team, for which the Green Office was the idea generator, has been working on this question for six months as part of UniKasselTransfer's SDG+ Challenge. At the SDG+ Challenge final on April 19 at 4:30 p.m., interested parties were able to see the solution ideas developed by the team, who presented their approaches in person in a three-minute pitch. The Critical Friends also provided valuable information and support opportunities along the way.

Sustainability community - Kassel of tomorrow

The Sustainability Community team wants to create visibility for the many great associations and organizations in Kassel that deal with the topic of sustainability. The different activities often run side by side without knowing about each other and are not always known to the public. The group wants to change this and is therefore working on a map that provides an overview of sustainable learning locations, fair shopping opportunities and existing initiatives. The "Kassel of tomorrow" map is intended to join forces, facilitate a sustainable lifestyle and make it easier to get involved.
