MINT Study Ambassadors:inside

What courses of study are available in the STEM field? What should I bring with me for STEM studies? What is everyday life like during a course of study? The study ambassadors of the University of Kassel will answer these and other questions at your school.

Goal

This program is designed to give students an authentic insight into what it's like to study, so that they can connect their interests and strengths with study opportunities. On the one hand, the requirements of STEM studies are to be made transparent, and on the other hand, fears of demanding courses of study are to be reduced.

Offer

We can adapt the offer for high school students to your specific needs: For example, two workshops in a double lesson, one course of study in a lesson of the advanced course, all courses of study in a large event for the whole class, etc.

The student ambassadors can give an overview of all STEM study programs at the University of Kassel and then present one or more in more detail. The latter applies to the study programs mathematics, physics, chemistry, nanostructure sciences, biology, civil engineering, environmental engineering and soon also mechanical engineering.

The student ambassadors are usually students of the University of Kassel and also report on their own experiences during their studies.
