Congratulations on your decision to study sport (science). In order to be able to study sport in Kassel, in addition to the general requirements for studying to become a teacher, which must be fulfilled, you must also successfully complete a sport aptitude test.
If you belong to a performance squad (at least state squad) or have completed a sports performance course at school and passed with the grade "very good" (at least 13 points), you can be exempted from the sports aptitude test (registration deadline: August 1, 2024).
Proof of a current medical certificate (max. 3 months) must also be submitted on the form when applying for exemption from the aptitude test. If you have sent your application on time and in full, you will then receive a confirmation by email.
Please note that in addition to the sports aptitude test, proof of successful participation in a first aid course and the German Lifeguard Badge Bronze (or higher) must be provided. Both certificates must be presented at the time of enrollment.
