Get on your bike for the University of Kassel!

From September 9 to 29, the whole of Kassel will be pedaling again. The aim is to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for three weeks.

With this competition, the STADTRADELN campaign not only wants to make an active contribution to climate protection, but also draw attention to the needs of cyclists.

Anyone who lives, works, belongs to a club or attends a (high) school in the city of Kassel can take part in the city cycling competition.

The Green Office of the University of Kassel cordially invites you to join in the cycling!

Whether you're going to the university, shopping, or on a bike tour with family or friends - every kilometer counts. Use the competition as an introduction to everyday cycling. There are many good reasons to switch to a bicycle: Cycling saves money, keeps you fit, is fun and gets us to our destination quickly and in a climate-friendly way.

Register at www.stadtradeln.de or get the free STADTRADELN app and join the University of Kassel team. You can also create sub-teams there and compete against other groups internally. To ensure that not a single kilometer is lost, you can use the app to record the distances covered via GPS. At the end of the campaign, the city of Kassel will receive an evaluation of all the routes traveled and will thus have a good basis for improving the routes and bike paths - and this also applies to your way to the university, of course.
