Business Education (Bachelor)

Students of business education acquire a double qualification: On the one hand, they focus on business and economic knowledge, on the other hand, they learn how to convey this knowledge didactically.

As teachers, they educate and teach students after graduation. They guide them to think and work independently and assume responsibility for teaching social behavior and values. Extensive practical elements in schools ensure that the training is relevant to the profession. The program combines the professional specialization of business with business didactic skills, educational and social sciences and a second subject. In addition, students acquire the ability to critically reflect on scientific studies in courses on mathematics, statistics and research methods. The second teaching subject including the associated subject didactics can be chosen from: Chemistry, German, English, French, Mathematics, Politics, Physics, Religion, Spanish, or Physical Education. In addition to the teaching subjects, the core studies in education and social sciences are a compulsory part of the teacher training program at the University of Kassel.
